New OD Practitioners SIG

Topic: Your Brand As an OD Practitioner

Facilitator: Libby Graves

Program:
You’re the CEO of your career.  What is your brand?  Your personal brand is your promise of value.  It differentiates you from your peers, your colleagues, and your competitors.  It’s about understanding your unique set of strengths, skills, values, and motivators to guide your career decisions.  Developing your personal brand positions you to build demand for your services among your target audience.  Managing your brand is critical to achieving your professional goals.

What to expect…  We will explore the key questions that establish your brand foundation.  We’ll consider the importance of authenticity and transparency in your brand.  We’ll play with brand mantras, identify the components of your brand portfolio, zero in on your target audience, and discuss the importance of consistency in branding.

When you build and nurture your brand, you’ll reap many benefits, including:
•  Knowing yourself better
•  Increasing your confidence
•  Increasing your visibility and presence
•  Differentiating yourself from your peers
•  Enjoying success by aligning your work with your strengths and values
