Topic: Maximizing Leader Effectiveness Back on the Job: A New Paradigm for Leader Success

Facilitator:  Steve Frieman (U.S. Department of Interior/Formerly w/OPM)

Steve Frieman, Ph.D. is a Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Interior.  He holds a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology, and has worked for over 25 years to create sustainable organizational and leadership change back on the job, mostly in the role of a U.S. Government employee.  He has worked during this time in such areas as organizational development, job analysis and selection design, leadership development, and executive coaching.

Program Description:
The speaker will address the topic of how to help leaders maximize their effectiveness on the job. Increasing leader effectiveness leads to many organizational benefits such as higher morale, more comprehensive mission accomplishment, and increased organizational efficiency and effectiveness.  In a time of restricted Government funding, it is part of a solution to doing more with less.

Based on over 25 years of experience as a facilitator, trainer and coach, Dr. Frieman will introduce an innovative model for increasing leader effectiveness back on the job. Come to this talk to learn more about this new approach as well as what specific strategies may help leaders to more rapidly adapt to current leader challenges that “keep them up at night.”
