On November 28th the Coaching Community of Practice will explore the concept of “followership”…In organizations the best leaders and managers have direct reports who appropriately speak truth to power in support of their leader and the mission and values of the organization. To be a courageous follower is to be seen as someone who can be relied on as a leader in his or her own right. How can leaders/managers create an environment where their reports are more likely to speak up? What is happening in the workplace and within people’s psychology that gets in the way of being a courageous follower? Where does one find courage in the face of risk? Join us for this thought-provoking topic as we move into a new realm of conversations, growth, and opportunities in our work. For this session attendees are encouraged to complete a simple online assessment prior to the meeting; the assessment can be offered to their coaching clients as well. Cost is $9.95 for one-year.
