How Emotions Shape our Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors

Join us for our February 21st meeting and gain a new perspective of how emotions shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Carla Dancy Smith, our presenter, will discuss Brene Brown’s recent book, The Atlas of the Heart.  Brene writes “Our connection with others can only be as deep as our connection with ourselves. If I don’t know who I am and what I need, want, and believe, I can’t share myself with you. I need to be connected to myself, in my own body, and learning what makes me work.”   Through an evening of discussion, small group work, and self-reflection, we’ll look newly into how emotions impact our lives. We hope to see you for this lively discussion!

Presenter: Carla Dancy Smith, MSOD, CPCC, ICF-PCC, BCC
