Leading Virtual Teams

The world of work has been turned upside down by the pandemic for nearly two years. While working from home has its advantages, such as no commute time and flexibility to be located anywhere with Wi-Fi, there are also challenges. Perhaps you have small children at home or a lack of dedicated space to work in or other limitations. Looking forward, the workplace will continue to be organized in a virtual or hybrid (in and out of the office) modality. Therefore, the question is how to guide remote teams in an engaging and productive way, whether you’re an external or internal consultant or OD practitioner, or a supervisor or team lead. During this session, we’ll explore ways to create a virtual environment that encourages teams to work together more effectively. The focus will be on best practices for communicating, collaborating and sharing information that includes more than just meetings. In an interactive session, you’ll experience this process in a small group activity. You‘ll have a chance to share what practices have worked best for you so everyone can learn from each other.
