Topic: Reframing Teambuilding Using Art Materials and Creative Processes

Description: Team building often encounters the challenge of integrating distinct or even divergent voices together.  As agents for change it is our job to help the group coalesce and also celebrate the individuals that comprise it.  By inspiring and creative and collaborative play we can make this experience a joyful one.

Join consultant and artist, Elizabeth Kendall for a fun exploration of team building and team building facilitation using art materials and creative processes in a virtual landscape. Discussion, collaboration, self-reflection, and play will all be encouraged during this workshop.

Participating individually and in small groups you will have an opportunity to explore the visual landscape afforded by www.Mural.co, a platform useful for online group activities and meeting facilitation.  You will leave the meeting with another tool for your kit and additional resources to explore on your own.

Presenter:  Elizabeth Kendall

As a sculptor and arts administration leader, Elizabeth infuses organizational methodologies with aesthetic perspectives and tools into her creative change collaborations.  A recent graduate of American University’s MSOD program, Elizabeth is also the co-founder of SoCo Arts Lab in Deale, MD and owner of Kendall Creative Change.  Wearing her consultant hat Elizabeth focuses on creative approaches to team building and group development, supporting personal and professional values, and fostering inclusion.

This workshop is a pilot for a series of workshops that Elizabeth is developing.  She is grateful for and celebrates the power and presence of the individuals and groups that laid the groundwork for the work she is doing today. Your participation and feedback are very much appreciated.
