Emotional Resilience is quite a buzz word these days. Most definitions focus on an individual’s ability to “bounce back” from adversity or to adapt in the face of change. In our March 21st program, we will explore a unique way of building greater resilience – one that looks at resilience through the lens of our relationship systems. We’ll explore the predictable patterns that all anxious relationship systems (families, teams, and organizations) exhibit under pressure and stress, and how we can navigate anxious systems with greater ease and equanimity. We’ll also discuss the “Secret Sauce” of resilient leaders – the key ingredients that enable leaders at all levels to influence their relationship systems for the better. Join us and learn practical distinctions you can share right away with your clients that will open new ways for leading themselves and their teams.

Presenter:  Bridgette Theurer

Bridgette Theurer (last named pronounced “Tire”) is an executive coach, key-note presenter and author of two books: Resilient Leadership 2.0: Leading with Calm, Clarity and Conviction in Anxious Times and Missing Conversations:9 Questions all Leaders Should Ask Themselves. Her favorite project right now is co-hosting the Resilient Leadership Podcast with her colleague and good friend, Irvine Nugent. Bridgette started coaching in 1998, before leadership coaching was in the popular vernacular. As a result, she was often mistaken at dinner parties for being a “soccer coach” or some other sports coach, even when she explained otherwise. The world of coaching has certainly come a long way!
