Coaching Community of Practice (CoP)

CBODN is excited to relaunch the Coaching in OD Community of Practice (CoP)! This space brings together coaches and OD practitioners to explore the powerful intersection of our fields, deepen our skills, and strengthen our professional community.

Why Join?

Coaching and Organization Development have often been viewed as separate disciplines. Today, those boundaries are blurring. Coaches are increasingly engaging in team, group, and organizational work, while OD professionals often find themselves in coaching roles without formal grounding in the practice. Our CoP exists to bridge these worlds, helping us grow together, learn from each other, and expand our collective impact.

What to Expect in the Kickoff Session:

  • Reconnect & Relaunch: We’ll share the new vision, values, and mission for the Coaching CoP, and invite you to help shape its future.
  • Community Conversations: Through interactive breakout activities, we’ll reflect on our roles, challenges, and opportunities at the intersection of OD and coaching.
  • Shared Learning: Together, we’ll co-create guiding values for this community and explore how the CoP can best support your professional goals.
  • Next Steps: Learn about upcoming sessions, ongoing ways to engage, and how to be included in the Coaching CoP Directory.

Who Should Attend?

  • Coaches who want to broaden their organizational lens
  • OD practitioners who want to deepen their coaching toolkit
  • Anyone curious about how these disciplines converge to create stronger, more resilient organizations
