Northwest SIG

SIG LeaderBill Tilles (wrtilles@verizon.net  | 301-230-2062)

SIG Description:

The Northwest Special Interest Group is a place where participants actively bring the program content.

The intention of this SIG is to allow OD professionals to meet each other, share ideas, ask questions, share resources and develop professional contacts in an informal and self-created environment.

The monthly topic either emerges through the current conversation or by group consensus to carry a topic into the future. This is designed to maximize interaction among the attendees.

Who would benefit from attending:  Anyone who thrives in a more intimate and conversational atmosphere. This group was created to serve those working/living in or near the Bethesda area, but it is open to anyone who wants to learn and share with like-minded colleagues. The current group is made up of both seasoned OD practitioners and those who are relatively new to the field.

Meeting Frequency:  Second Thursday of each month

Time:               12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Venue:            La Madeleine
                        7607 Old Georgetown Road
                        Bethesda, MD
