Interview with Presenters

Program Description

Talent management and retention is one of the biggest challenges for organizations today.  Resignations are not new nor are the reasons – dissatisfaction or unhappiness with the organization or boss, new opportunities with another employer, or changing career goals. What is new is the intersection of these common reasons for leaving one employer for another and the phenomenon of a shrinking qualified replacement pool of workers. Organizations need to establish a proactive talent mindset whereby all employees are actively involved in staffing related initiatives.

This program will explore:

  • the power of stories builds trusting relationships, increases ability to have others become acquainted with the “authentic” you, and creates an environment fostering credibility, reliability, and competency resulting in people working together effectively and efficiently;
  • the value of stories to establish trust quickly and effectively in teams with little time or opportunity to become better acquainted with each other;
  • the role of stories to help align corporate and talent values, build loyalty to the organization, and commitment to its culture.
