“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead
It is with deep emotion that we share with you that Edie Seashore passed last Saturday evening, February 23, 2013.
We will be ever grateful for both Edie and Charlies contributions to the field of OD and to each person their life touched. Both Edie and Charlie were instrumental in the development of the OD profession. They were both founding members of the AU/NTL program. Edie was a founding member of our very own network – CBODN and Charlie was chair of the faculty of the Fielding Graduate Institute’s doctoral program in Human and Organization Development. Together the two were visionary thinkers, respected and beloved in their field, and parents of two daughters, Kimberly and Becky.
Edie and Charlie will be remembered for their courage, commitment, and deep contributions. They shaped, evolved and progressed our field of OD. Today we honor their memories, celebrate their lives, and find hope and comfort in their legacy. Their deep impact to us all can be seen in stories and memories of our moments with them. We invite community members to share their memories, thoughts, and how Edie and Charlie impacted your personal and professional practice here. (Click on the forum link below.)
