The Government SIG hosts monthly webinars and/or in person events to discuss topics or techniques relevant to the practice of OD in federal or local government. We hold ourselves accountable as life-long learners in the field to contribute to the future growth and knowledge of government and public sector OD practices. To share best OD practices, trends and policies in the government and public sectors through monthly SIG meetings for both internal and external consultants.

: James Alexander
James Alexander has over twenty-five years experience in the field of organization development and human capital management in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Alexander currently serves as an internal consultant with the federal government at the Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS). James’ academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Research and a Masters’ Degree in Planning and Administration both from Antioch University. He is also a graduate of the Georgetown University’s Organization Development Program. James’ professional affiliation has been with the Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network and he has served as a past president of this organization.
