Program Description: Can staff create a learning organization for themselves? Can line managers really help staff develop themselves -- even without a budget? How do you keep up with the tidal wave of information that comes at you every day? Madelyn's talk will address all these questions and introduce an approach anyone can use. Based on her book, Riding the Current, she will offer strategies, case studies of usage with results, and how more recent technologies can be harnessed as well. Come prepared to work on your own goals, as well as learn the conceptual underpinnings of this successful approach.
