Ellen J. Solomon, MSOD, is President/CEO of Strategic Change, Inc., which she founded in 1993. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and the American University/NTL Institute's masters program in OD, Ellen brings extensive experience and expertise in: strategic planning; strategic human resource and succession planning; change management and culture change; leadership development (especially for mid-senior managers); team building; and managing diversity; as well as group and organizational assessment and data feedback, and organizational design and structure. She has a subspecialty is helping HR departments become more effective as business partners and then providing competencies in thelories opf OD, leading strategic change, and consulting skills to HR managers and practitioners.

Ellen served as Adjunct Faculty in the "Executive Leader" master’s program for HR practitioners at Rochester Institute of Technology, where she designed and taught courses in strategic planning; managing diversity; and consulting skills. She received the "Execellence in Adjunct Teaching" Award, nominated by students. In business for 14 years, Ellen previously served as Sr. Education/OD Consultant at Eastman Kodak Company and as a Supervisory Management Analyst in the USDOL, mostly doing reorganizations. Clients have included Abbott Laboratories; Eastman Kodak Company; GlaxoSmithKline; Kraft Foods; NY State; Pitney Bowes; and Xerox, as well as local, state, and federal government agencies; nonprofit organizations and associations.

Ellen is a member of the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science, ODN, CBODN, and HRPS. She is nationally certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise by WBENC/WPEO and the NGLCC, as well as NC HUB.
