Darryl is a senior-level strategist and executive advisor who has successfully worked with executives and organizations during more than twenty-five years of consulting and corporate assignments within a wide breadth of industries and sectors such as healthcare, technology, commodities, financial services, energy, commercial real estate, telecommunications, education, trade associations and the federal government.

Darryl's approach in working with clients is collaborative, strategic and analytical with a focus on development to achieve and sustain measurable goals and results. Combining his insight and experience with a range of models, assessments and tools, he has effectively worked with managerial, director, senior executive and board level clients on engagements ranging from individual executive coaching and development to enterprise wide strategic planning and organizational growth and development initiatives.

Past clients include Verizon, Freddie Mac, Charles Schwab & Company, MedStar Health, the National Association of Manufacturers, Bunge International, U.S. Interior Department and U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

Prior to launching Vantage Growth, Darryl served as Senior Vice President with Washington, DC based CarrAmerica Realty, where he served on its Management Operating Committee and advised senior management and the Board of Directors in implementing human capital, organizational development, risk management and M & A strategies for the $5.6 billion commercial real estate firm. Prior to CarrAmerica, Darryl served as a Vice President and Corporate Officer with USEC Inc. a Bethesda, MD global nuclear energy technology firm, where he advised senior management and the Board of Directors in successfully implementing human capital, organizational development, corporate administration and IPO strategies for the $1.4 billion firm. Prior to USEC, Darryl was Vice President of Leadership and Organizational Planning & Development for Manor Care Health Services, Inc., a $1.3 billion healthcare company with 40,000 employees based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. At Manor Care, he directed all leadership succession planning and development, executive coaching, organizational development and human capital retention strategies, and led a team supporting the launch of two new business units and organizational restructuring as part of the company's five year strategic growth and development plan. Darryl also served as the Chief Human resources Executive and a member of the Executive Committee of MICROS Systems, Inc., a software development firm. Darryl has published articles, been quoted in the media, organizes professional development programs and presents extensively to professional & industry associations on a wide range of organizational strategy, executive, leadership development and human capital issues and topics.

Darryl currently serves as an advisor to Leadership Howard County Maryland, the Board of Directors of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources and previously served on the Board of the Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network.

Darryl earned his MS degree in Applied Behavioral Science & Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and his BS degree in Psychology & Communications from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH. He is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
